Toasted & spicy. Got this recipe from my mum.
500g unsalted assorted nuts: Brazil, peanuts, hazelnuts. walnuts, cashews, pecans & almonds
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, coarsely chopped
1 tablespoon unsalted melted butter
2 teaspoons dark muscovado sugar
2 teaspoons crushed sea salt
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Preheat oven to 180ºC / 360ºF / gas mark 4.
- Spread nuts out on a baking tray and toast in oven for about 10 minutes.
- Mix together the butter, rosemary, sugar, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Toss the toasted nuts in the spicy mixture.
Best served warm.
