Went to the allotment briefly in the pouring rain late yesterday afternoon. At first I was pleased to see the rain thinking it meant I wouldn’t have to go and water the plants. But then I remembered the lack of slug pellets around the juicy pepper plants.
My frown soon turned upsidown when I spotted this beautiful, flowery belisha beacon. It decided to pick the wettest, greyest, most sun-free day to open up. And there’s more still on their way.
